3 Most Anticipated Obstacle Course Races In 2017

One of my main goals this year is to become more organised in all aspects of life, especially when it comes to my race schedule. I know this will improve accountability and allow me to prepare for each event. More so it will give anyone that wants to join me a chance to prepare as well. Here are the three races that I can not wait to take part in during 2017:

Nuclear Race Rush – Kelvedon Hatch – 21st May

In 2016 I took part in my first ever Nuclear race in November. It was wet, cold, muddy and probably one of the best races I have taken part in! The obstacles are brilliant and there are so many you don’t feel like your running for ages. The reason I’m looking forward to the May event is because it will be great to see this race in the middle of Spring. Should be a great 12km!

Tough Mudder – London South – 16th September

I have never taken part in a Tough Mudder event and this will be my first! It’s the one everybody talks about and knows well. I’ll be going in straight at the deep end with the full 10-12 mile version to embrace the full experience. I can’t wait for the electric cables and ice baths! Yeah I know, slightly crazy.

Spartan Race Beast – Edinburgh – 2nd October

Last year, I completed my first Spartan TRIFECTA with the Beast in Windsor. Long, enduring and definitely my biggest OCR challenge to date. Edinburgh will host a whole new level of terrain and hardship! All 26km of it! But this will be my ticket to my 2017 double TRIFECTA and Spartan glory! I’ll probably need a few days off after this one but it will all be worth it.
